Research Methods

- Target Audience: 5-10 year olds children

TRACING

Today we practice on the research of information.

At first I started to research about my target audience, tracing different silhouette to get general information of the subject.

WEB RESEARCH

At this point I research about my client through the web.

The aim of the research was to understand:

• the Brand (high/low awareness, traditional, innovative ),
• the Company Organization (local, private, public, globally established)
• the Environmental Impact (high/low impact, open/resistance to change)

DRAWING IDEAS

At the end we had to draw simple image representing the message.

Mainly the first idea that could come up in your mind without having a particular connection with the outcome.

At the end of this day my ideas are much more clear and I know now how to do a better research, organize my work and start my sketch book..:)

ERGONOMICS

ergonomics is the science of designing the job, equipment, and workplace to fit the worker. Proper ergonomic design is necessary to prevent repetitive strain injuries, which can develop over time and can lead to long-term disability

Today I discovered the meaning of Ergonomics and in few words I can say that "ergonomics can improve aspects of everyday life"

100 COLLAGE

I looked around to find as many as possible magazines, books, newspaper, fabrics, 3d objects everything that I could use for my work..

I also found out the meaning of some of the ten words listed on the brief.

After that when there wasn't any space left in my room I started to cut any images possible..

before I tried to match images that could make a meaning but It wasn't really good idea because it made things slower and confusing so I just drop all of them in a box and when I had enough staff to begging with it was much easier to create some interesting collage..

I noticed that most of the images could create so different meaning depending what there was next to it.

As more time I spent to do them I stooped to try to make things really understandable and I preferred to create something more personal.

Finally I finished them and at the end it's was fun!!!!..
